DECLARATION ON BARRIER-FREE ACCESS

The State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg endeavor to make their website accessible to all in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the Landesbehindertengleichstellungsgesetz (L-BGG) (state disabilities act).

This declaration on accessibility applies to the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg website located at www.schloesser-und-gaerten.de as well as the linked sites for the individual monuments of the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg.

Current compliance with requirements

We had this website independently tested by the BITV-Test-Prüfverbund on December 21, 2020. The basis for the Test is the BITV 2.0 (Federal Ordinance on Barrier-Free Information Technology) from May 21, 2019. This means that the test includes the new requirements of the WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

A website is considered BITV-compliant when it meets all requirements of the BITV 2.0. A website is considered WCAG-compliant when it meets all step-AA success criteria of the WCAG 2.1.

All sites selected for these tests were rated as BITV- and WCAG-compliant.

This declaration was made on February 8, 2021.

The declaration was last updated on February 8, 2021.
